Annapurna Circuit Trek, also known as classic Himalayan trek, is one of Nepal’s most popular trek route which is located in Annapurna region. Detailed Itinerary

We pick you up at Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to a hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. Overnight at a hotel.

We visit Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Later, we discuss our trek in our office.

We drive for 7 to 8 hours to Khudi (800m) along the Trishuli River in a jeep with a shy sight of the Manaslu range. Our ride would be bumpy as we’d be driving on an off-road. Overnight at a hotel in Khudi.

Khudi to Siurung (2,200m) uphill trek may take about 7 hours. We will come across beautiful waterfalls on our way. Mt. Manaslu looks terrific from Siurung. Overnight at a homestay in Tamang village in Siurung.

We trek for about 7 hours to Jagat (1,300m). We cross beautiful Marsayangdi River on a suspension bridge. We come across several small Gurung and Magar villages on our way. Overnight at a homestay in Jagat.

Following a scant glimpse of the Annapurna range, we trek for 7 to 8 hours to reach Dharapani (1,960m). We come across water streams along the way with some dense forests. Overnight at a lodge in Dharapani.

We chase the Himalayas to get a clearer view of them and reach Chame (2,710m) after 6 hours of trek. We trek along few Buddhist monasteries on our way to Chame with the absolutely stunning view of Lamjung Himal. Overnight at a lodge in Chame.

After 5 to 6 hours trek, we reach Pisang (3,300m) which offers a better view of the Himalayas than the other places we stopped. We stop by some Buddhist monasteries on our way to Pisang. Overnight at a lodge in Pisang.

We trek for about 7 hours to reach Manang (3,519m), the home of Manangi, which gives an absolutely stunning view of the Annapurna ranges. We use Geru pass to reach Manang. Overnight at a lodge in Manang.

We explore the beautiful Manang valley where we will take a short tour to the Buddhist monasteries, mountaineering school, and hike up to Gangapurna Lake. Overnight at a lodge in Manang.

We leave Manang for Yak Kharka (4,110m) which will take us about 4 hours trek. On our way, we get to observe Himculi along with the Annapurna range and yaks grazing in the fields. Overnight at a lodge in Manang.

We take a short trek of 4 hours to Thorong Phedi (4,600m) along Marsayangdi River with a breathtaking view of the Himalayas behind us. Overnight at a homestay in Thorong Phedi.

Using Thorong La pass (5,416m) as our gateway, we reach to Muktinath temple (situated at 3,800m) which is the perfect example of religious tolerance in Nepal. After 8 hours trek, we rest at a hotel in Muktinath.

In the morning, we visit the temple to worship the God and take shower in 108 sacred taps of the temple. We trek downhill to apple city of Nepal i.e. Marpha (2,670m). During our 5 hours trek, we pass through Jomsom and Kagbeni which offers beautiful scenes for photo-shoots. Overnight at a lodge in Marpha.

We trek further downhill for 6 hours to reach Kalopani (2,530m) which offers a beautiful panoramic view of Dhaulagiri tagging along with Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Tukuche. Overnight at a lodge in a Thakali village of Kalopani.

We trek to Tatopani (1,200m) for 6 to 7 hours. We will stumble across beautiful waterfalls on our way. We take a hot water bath in Tatopani to release our fatigue. Overnight at a hotel in Tatopani.

We trek into the woods of rhododendron forests to reach Ghorepani (2,850m) after 8 hours. Ghorepani offers us mesmerizing view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and many other mountains lying in that region. Overnight at a lodge in Ghorepani.

After relishing a fascinating sunrise from Ghorepani, we trek for 2 hours to reach Poon Hill (3,210m) which host beautiful panoramic view of the Himalayas. We further trek down to Tadapani (2,700m). Overnight at a lodge in Tadapani.

We trek downhill for 4 hours to reach Gurung village of Ghandruk. We enjoy the vista of Mt. Machhapuchhre which seems a foot away from us. We drive for 3 hours to reach Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

We leave Pokhara for Kathmandu on a tourist coach. After 7-hour drive, we reach the capital. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

We’ll drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport in a car.
