Chitwan National Park is situated in the west-central part of Nepa, is a bio-diversity paradise as it houses innumerable varieties of flora and faunas. It is the first National Park (1979 AD) in Nepal and was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites (1984 AD) for its natural richness.
Due to the presence of dense vegetation, the tall deciduous forest is a home to different species of animals like one-horned rhino, tiger, bear, deer, crocodile, alligators, monkeys, leopard, wild cats, and many more. Different species of birds like stroke, kingfisher, bulbul, goose, etc. can also be found here. We can enjoy the bird watching during the morning or evening walk in the forest.
