Ganjala Pass Trek with Nayakang Peak is one of the most exciting treks suitable for those seeking for short stay. It is located in Langtang trekking route that offers a multitude of trekking destinations. Despite being so close to Kathmandu in the north, it is rather still untouched and unexploited trekking route.
Easy to plan and execute in a weeklong stay, the trek to Ganjala pass trek with Nayakang peak offers ample of wilderness and adventurous experiences. A visit to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore Tibetan villages, Tamang Villages, to climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at comfortably low elevations. Kyanjin Gompa is a last Tibetan village in the valley, from where a trek starts to Helambu over Ganja La Pass (5,200 m). The pass itself is not easy. During autumn and spring, the pass opens for trekkers.

Outline Itinerary
- Day-01: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to Hotel.
- Day-02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley and preparation for trek.
- Day-03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi (1466m.) 8 hrs
- Day-04: Syabrubensi - Lama Hotel (2470m.) 5 hrs
- Day-05: Lama Hotel - Langtang village (3430m.) via Ghore Tabela. 6 hrs
- Day-06: Langtang - Kyangjin (3870m.) 3hrs
- Day-07: Acclimatized day at Kyangjin Gompa with wonderful excursion in around.
- Day-08: Kenjing Gompa - Yak Kharka (4430m.) 5 hrs
- Day-09: Yak Kharka - Naya Kang High Camp (4960m.) 4 hrs
- Day-10: Another acclimatized day for your summit.
- Day-11: Summit Naya Kang peak (5844m) and climb back to High Camp steep site for the overnight.
- Day-12: Extra day incase of bad weather and physical/health problems etc.
- Day-13: Steep Camp site – Yangri Kharka(4423m) 6 hours.
- Day-14: Yangri Kharka – Dhukpa(4055m) 6 hours.
- Day-15: Dhukpa – Tarkeghyang(2780m) 7 hours.
- Day-16: Tarkeghyang – Shermathang(2590m) 4 hours.
- Day-17: Drive back to Kathmandu by Land cruiser and it takes about 4 hours drive and finally end of your trek.
