Detailed Itinerary

After a very early start and an early take off from Kathmandu Domestic Airport, a 45-minute flight is all it takes to propel into the Everest region of Nepal. The landings at Lukla (2800m) is spectacular and on arrival, you will be greeted by trekking crew who organize the luggage and hustle you off for tea. After a leisurely lunch, you will start the trek in earnest, setting off for a gentle walk to Phakding (2800m), a further 3 hours to the north. The trail leads through Lukla, past hotels, shops and airline offices to the edge of the Lukla plateau where the trail drops to meet the intersection of the Jiri trail at Chheplung. From here the trail follows the Dudh Kosi north through the village of Ghat and then finally to Phakding where you should spend the night.

From Phakding the trail continues north up the Dudh Kosi Valley, staying 100m above the river on it's West Bank. The trail leads to Jorsale (2810m) where you enter the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. From here you will continue on an ever-steeping trail to Namche Bazaar (3446m), known simply as Namche. En route you have to cross the spectacular suspension bridge high above the confluence of the Bhote Kosi and the Dudh Kosi, and shortly after glimpse first view of Everest, way off to the northeast. The trail to Namche is steep and long, but eventually, you will reach the remarkable Sherpa capital perched high on the hillside and dominated to the east by the immense bulk of Kwangde (6187m).

Acclimatization is important before trekking higher, and this is a scheduled stop, which will allow you to gradually become used to the effects of altitude - the lower pressure and the thinner air.
You can spend the day by taking a side trip to Thami or Khumjung, by visiting the National Park Visitor Center on the hill above Namche or by simply resting and browsing in the shops in the town. Namche is a fascinating place simply to 'hang out' and take in the culture of the mountains, from the trading of visiting Tibetans to the stories of departing mountaineers.

From Namche you have to trek northeast on a direct line to Everest, starting up the hill to the Visitor Center and continuing on a reasonably flat easy trail high above the Dudh Kosi.

Ahead of you can see one of the most beautiful mountains in the Khumbu - Ama Dablam (6856m), as well as Everest but it, is still far off in the distance. At Sanasa you should branch off the trail and head up the hill to the small settlement of Phunki where you will stop for lunch. From here it is a steady descent to the Tengboche. This is a beautiful settlement where you can see the famous Tibetan Monastery. This is the place where you have to spend overnight.

The Tengboche

The sacred land in the Himalaya and one of the holy land among several Buddhist people around the shelter provides you the beautiful day of sightseeing with the views of Himalayan Panorama including the glimpse of Mt Everest. We will be living on the lap of Mount Amadablam enjoying the visiting one of the famous monastery in the Himalaya and it's reincarnated Lama Sange Dorje, Santaman and Clients can get the holy blessing from him to submit your mission Everest Trek.

Descend from Tengboche and cross the Imja Khola, then side hills gradually to Pangboche. An interesting Gompa site above the main village. The Trekker is the midst of the Himalayas here with spectacular views all around. Dingboche lying in a sheltered spot above the Imja Khola is generally more attractive. It is, however, note that Himalayan Rescue Association has their aid post at Pheriche.

The Dingboche

However, its located to the high altitude but Dingboche has got it's different characteristics to the same altitude Pheriche. It has got very clear and beautiful sight of several Chortens and famous Trekking Peak Imjatse or Island Peak. We will be sitting at the bottom of mount Amadablam in sunroom lodges having spectacular views of Peak 38 and Chhukung Valley.

The route past Pheriche slants over a ridge and stays above the village. It joins the trail below Thungla Beautiful views of Cholatse 6440m across the valley. After another steep ascends the trail climbs up and over the terminal moraine of Khumbu glacier.

The trail is rough in the parts. Stark and rugged beauty create almost moonscape Campsite at Lobuche a windswept collection of huts tucked in a narrow meadow between the glacier and the Lobuche Peak6145m. Tawoche and Nuptse are particularly spectacularly from Lobuche towering almost two kilometers directly overhead.

Start early in the morning to get Kalapattar. This is the place from where you can see the wide view of the Everest and its magnificient views with all 360 degrees himalayan ranges and Nepal's Longest Khumbu Glacier including tremendious sight of Khumbu Icefall standing at the bottom of snowy mountain Pumori at the altitude of 5600m.. Your dream will come true here.

Start early in the morning to get Everest Base Camp after our breakfast. The trail from Gorakhshep to Everest Base Camp is a lot tiring through the turnings and over the ice but rocks and sand. EBC is wonderful to touch the ice from worlds novel peak in order to make your dream true.

Khumjung is the hidden village of Nepal Himalaya offering the outstanding marvelous views of village and it's fields and Hillary School with Khunde hospital with Pyramid views of Mt Amadablam and Thamserku.

Note: Trekking itinerary can be changed as per the different situation and clients interest.

21 days memorable trek/peak climbing

Nepal's famous mountain panoramas begin as soon as we lift off from Kathmandu airport and don't stop until we return. The first section to Namche passes through the spectacular and forbidding Dudh Kosi gorge. In the midst of the Himalaya, we explore Sagarmatha National Park, staying in the Sherpa villages and summer settlements nestled in the valleys. Namche is juxtaposed between old and new with traders intimate with the various Tibetan barley flours and the different makes of titanium ice screws. Towering above is a galaxy of breath-taking peaks; Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Kangtaiga... Then there's the 8000-meter giants: Makalu, Cho Oyu, Lhotse and Chomolungma (the traditional name for Mt Everest) who command respect for their absolute height and bulk and have been the focus of countless expeditions. Once at Gorak Shep we have the chance to visit Everest Base Camp or climb the 5600m Kala Pattar for an unforgettable Everest view. Now that we are strong and well acclimatized, we head back to Lukla mainly same trails. Trekking and climbing in the Khumbu is a grand and hugely rewarding experience.

-Accommodation in hotel lodges/tend camp

Nepal's Accommodation in Trekking areas is slowly moving to mini urbanization process. Wherever you go, the National Parks and Conservation Projects are working to enhance the living standard compared to the clean and hygienic society. So everywhere you will see breaking the rocks to build the new buildings and cemented to make clean. You will find cottage types of lodges with separate and dormitory beds rooms in every shelter with improving toilets, hot shower and sunroom with clean and wooden dining table with the big metal chimney on the middle of Dining Room to have the fire while in the evening burning fallen woods below 3500m. and the Yak Dungs over 3500m.

There have been many changes along popular trekking routes over the past few years, especially since the barrage of bestsellers about the 1996 Everest drama, which caused a renewed interest, especially in the Solu Khumbu region. Since then many new lodges have been built along all trekking paths, offering a variety of amenities.

Generally, the lodges in the Everest region are more basic. Rooms tend to be small, unheated wooden boxes with two beds, and only the more upscale versions offer electric lights fed by solar panels. Toilets are often squat-style wooden outhouses. Toilet paper is available for purchase everywhere.

Many lodges offer hot showers for a price, ranging from Rs.150 to Rs.300 ($2.20-$4), depending on the remoteness of the area. Be prepared to skip baths for several days, simply because it will be too cold to even consider taking off your clothes, and keep in mind that you are not the only one. The occasional luxury of a shower will seem like bliss once you reach lower altitudes again.

In busy towns, like Lukla, Namche Bazar, Khumjung, and Lobuche, you will also find luxury accommodations with western toilets, hot showers, satellite TV, heated rooms, and extensive menu options. Even though they are a little more expensive, they are still very cheap by western standards and can provide a welcome break from "roughing it" in tents or bare-bones lodges along the way.

-3 times meals BF, LN, DN in same lodges every day.

All our meals will be at teahouses and, although the food is usually plentiful and delicious, you should be aware that the menu is not normally extensive.

However, the menus in all lodges offer a surprising variety of foods. Most lodge owners have learned about western food preferences and offer items such as pizza, lasagna, muesli, sandwiches and even burgers. If you wish, we provide you with an opportunity to watch a lodge kitchen in action, producing an enormous number and variety of meals on a single wood-burning stove. You will definitely gain an appreciation for the effort that goes into satisfying the appetites of tourists from all over the world. But keep in mind that a lot of the ingredients for such "exotic" foods have to be carried on porters’ backs, and the further you get from original food supplies, the higher the price tag will be on some of these items.

We, Nepalese eat a meal of Dhal Bhaat (rice with lentil soup, curry, and pickles) twice daily. The ingredients vary according to local and seasonal availability, but vegetarian options are the norm. Another cheap popular local dish is the ubiquitous instant noodle soup, enhanced by local vegetables, or meat or egg, depending on availability. Eating Nepali-style will provide you with a truly local experience, guarantees fresh ingredients everywhere, and rules out disappointments. Let’s face it: Lasagna Himalaya-style will not be the true Italian version you may be accustomed to.

Also, in all lodges tourists will be served their meals in the lodge dining room before the Nepali staff gets their meals in the kitchen or another place where guides and porters relax. And staff members’ quarters are separate from the tourist rooms. This seemingly two-class system may be a difficult concept for some tourists, but it can also be seen as "time off" for the staff members. Nepalese eat mostly with their hands, a custom that is considered offensive by some tourists—another reason why the staff members may actually prefer to eat separately. But all relationships form over time, and you may find that soon you and your staff will share animated conversations over dinner if you so desire.

The Kitchens staffs you will find are trained for cooking, and guest relation, The foods will be served with according to the Lodge Management Committee approved Menu system providing Nepalese, Indian, Chinese and Continental western foods. Beers, Whisky western and Nepalese, Snickers, Mar Bars, CocaCola, Mineral water, Cereals and many others essentials foods will be available in every lodge. And do not forget of Garlic and RARA noodles soups will make you smelly going up to avoid with high altitude sickness. For a quick fix: Tea is available everywhere and Nepali biscuits are cheap, delicious and provide a great energy boost for long uphill climbs.

Most teahouses offer a variety of rice and noodle dishes, as well as soup and seasonal vegetables. A variety of cereals, bread and egg dishes are generally available for breakfast. There will also be plenty of snacks available such as biscuits, chocolate, and soft drinks and in some areas, you will find fresh fruit in season.
