Langtang is one of the beautiful regions in the Himalayas of Nepal located only 19 miles to the north of Kathmandu Valley and lies at the south of the Tibetan Border. Langtang Valley Trek is also popularly known as the glacier trek as the whole valley is surrounded by Mount Langtang Lirung (7246m). The region embraces the simple and different lifestyle of villagers with customs, traditions and rich Sherpa culture.

The beauty and attractiveness of magical snowcapped mountains and glaciers are just one of the many awe and admiration highlights of Langtang Valley Trek. The trek also offers pine and oaks forest, rugged rocks, wildlife, swift mountain streams, stunning landscapes, and breathe taking views of snowcapped mountains.

The 13-day Langtang Valley Trek is designed for every nature lover. Besides the natural scenic beauty, you will also visit the spiritual site, a Buddhist Monastery Kyanjin Gompa. Upon reaching you will get to see flapping prayers flag, and painted shortens. The majority of residents in Langtang are Tamang, Sherpas and Tibetans originated. Detailed Itinerary

Pickup at Tribhuvan International Airport by our team. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Today will be your free day to explore and shop at local markets in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Explore the historical places of Kathmandu valley which includes Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight at Hotel.

We will leave for Sybrubensi early in the morning which takes about 7 to 8 hours’ drive from Kathmandu. On our way, we can enjoy the scenic beauty of the rivers, mountains, and landscapes. Upon reaching we can explore the small town of Sybrubensi. Overnight in lodge.

We begin our trek following the Langtang Khola. We walk through the trail of beautiful villages simultaneously passing through rhododendron and oak forest. After crossing a bridge over Langtang Khola the trail leads us to the Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

We ascend up the hill from Lama Hotel that takes us to Langtang village offering the magnificent white peaks of Langtang range and landscape with breathtaking waterfalls. We come across many Chortens, Buddhist monastery, and villages. We continue our trek to Mundu. Overnight in Hotel.

We will continue ascending uphill to reach Kyanjin Gompa passing amazing mountain surrounding the valley, water mills, sacred rocks, largest Mani wall built with stones with prayers carved in them.  Kyangin Gompa is an ancient sacred Buddhist monastery where we can explore Buddhist shrine surrounded by panoramic views of Himalayas. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

We will spend this day to take a rest from trekking and enjoy the spectacular view of Mount Langtang Lirung, Genjempol, and Kega Himal ranges from Kyanjin Gompa. We also explore the cheese factory, Buddhist Monastery, and Tserko Ri. A short hike to Tserko Ri offers you the most splendid and extraordinary view of mountains surrounding you.

After breakfast, we climb down back to the Lama Hotel enjoying the beautiful view of Langtang valley passing different forests and villages and their culture. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

On our final day of Hiking, we trek back to the Sybrubensi enjoying the last chance to enjoy the wilderness of Himalaya. Overnight in Sybrubensi Hotel.

We drive back to Kathmandu from Sybrubensi enjoying the same natural beauty of mountains, rivers, landscapes, waterfalls, and woods. We will take you back to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Another free day to explore more of Kathmandu. Later in the evening dinner will be held at the farewell for you. Overnight at Kathmandu.

We will drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for the departure flight approximately 3 hours before scheduled flight.
