Mardi Himal Trek route was open to travelers in 2012. In the short time, it was introduced, it has garnered much praise from trekkers from in and out of the country due to its short trek route along with magnificent sceneries.
Mardi Himal Trek will take you through the Annapurna region of Nepal, to the highest point of your journey which is the Upper View Point at 4200m. From the Upper View Point, you will be able to witness a breath-taking panorama of Annapurna Ranges, Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, Tent Peak, and so on. Against the backdrop of blue skies and barren hills adorning the snowy peaks, this is certainly a once in a lifetime view you will be able to witness.
Mardi Himal Trek will start at the capital city, Kathmandu where you can witness the perfect blend of culture with modernity. As you move on to Pokhara, the ambiance changes to a more scenic serenity due to the giants- Machhapuchhre and Annapurna looming at the skyline of the city, rising from the view of green hills that surround the valley. Your trek will take you through forests of oak and rhododendron which is common around this region, but nonetheless very beautiful. You will visit some of the best view-points such as the Low Camp and High Camp at an altitude of 3035m and 3590m respectively.
