Panchase Trek is a short trekking route that will take you picturesque locations and villages located nearby to the city of Pokhara. From the highest point of the trek, Panchase Bhanjyang at 2030m, you will be able to witness an incredible view of mountains such as Annapurna ranges, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung, and Manaslu and so on rising from a crown of lush green hills. Down below, you will be able to witness the entirety of Pokhara valley with its surrounding hills and Phewa Lake. The sight of terraced fields, mountains, and lush green hills is very serene.

Panchase Trek will start at the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu where you will be able to take a tour of the Valley by visiting several of its cultural landmarks such as Boudhanath, Swayambhunath and so on. As you travel on to Pokhara, you will be able to get your first glimpse of two snowy peaks, Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. Enjoy the beautiful village of Bhumdi which is majorly inhabited by the Gurung community of Nepal and in the said village, you can experience the Gurung culture through their food, language, and traditions. As you trek through forests of pine and rhododendron, you will come to the highest point of your trek, the Panchase Bhanjyang.

  • Day 2: Full Day Guided Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley by private van.
  • Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara with AC tourist bus (7/8 hours),
  • Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Thado Khola by private car and trek to Bhumdi 1520m (3/4 hours).
  • Day 5: Trek from Bhumdi to Panchase Bhanjyang 2030m (5/6 hours).
  • Day 6: Trek from Panchase Bhanjyang to Chitre 1400m (6/7 hours).
  • Day 7: Trek from Chitre to Birethanti 1020m (4/5 hours).
  • Day 8: Trek from Birethanti to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (2/3 hours) and flight back to Kathmandu.
  • Day 9: Final Departure from Kathmandu

Detailed Itinerary

You will arrive at the capital city, Kathmandu where our representatives will be present at Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome you and aid you towards your hotel. Kathmandu is a crowded city with a skyline of the surrounding hills and where you can witness a great diversity on the basis of religion, culture, languages and so on. Overnight in Kathmandu.

A private van will be waiting to guide you through a city tour of Kathmandu Valley. The valley of Kathmandu includes two other major cities- Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. You will visit several cultural and historical landmarks, including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath and the beautiful Durbar Squares of each city. This will give you a better insight into the history and the diverse culture of Nepal. Overnight in Kathmandu.

From Kathmandu, you will take a drive towards another major city, Pokhara. Pokhara is a scenic city with a beautiful view of Annapurna ranges and Machhapuchhre. Also known as the city of lakes as it houses several lakes such as Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas, this city is rich in natural biodiversity as well as culture. Overnight in Pokhara.

From Pokhara, you will take a drive towards Thado Khola by a private car. This route will take you through hilly roads that seem to snake its way towards the mountains. From Thado Khola, you will trek towards the beautiful village of Bhumdi. Bhumdi is majorly inhabited by the Gurung community of Nepal.

So you can experience the culture and traditions of Gurung through their language, costume and unique cuisine in this village. Overnight in Bhumdi.

You will trek towards Panchase Bhanjyang from the village of Bhumdi. Panchase Bhanjyang is a small settlement at an elevation of 2030m from where you can see a panoramic view of mountains such as Annapurna, Lamjung, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre and so on. The trail will take you through beautiful forests of pine and rhododendron. Overnight in Panchase Bhanjyang.

You will trek towards Chitre from Panchase Bhanjyang which will take you around 6 to 7 hours. Your trail will take you through the Panchase ridge which once again offers you magnificent views of Annapurna ranges, Lamjung, Dhaulagiri and so on. Down below, you can witness a breathtaking view of the entire Pokhara valley including Phewa Lake. Overnight in Chitre.

From Chitre, you will take a trail to Birethanti which is a small town that lies along the Modi River. A beautiful view of Annapurna over the hills can be seen from Birethanti. Overnight in Birethanti.

You will trek towards Nayapul from where you will take a short drive back to Pokhara. From Pokhara, you will take a flight back to the capital city, Kathmandu.

Your trek has come to an end. Our representatives will aid you in your departure from Tribhuvan International Airport.
