This review relates to the time I spent trekking in Nepal in the autumn of 2008. I organised the first part of the trek before I left home through Jagat and he was very helpful to get eveything started. I was met at the airport in Kathmandu and later met my guide Kanchha (Pritam) Lama who is Jagat’s brother. Kanchha and I spent the next two months hiking together in the Annapurna and Khumbu regions. Kanchha was an excellent guide, knew most of the people in each of the villages, and always found the best accommodations. I will always remember Kanchha and our porter Roj singing along the trails in the Annapurna, playing cards in the evenings, and the parties we had during the Dashain festival. Whilst we hiked, Kanchha taught me Nepali language, some of which I still remember. Even after twelve years, we are still in contact. I highly recommend Jagat and his colleagues.
